Philatelic stock-list request form postcard

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a philatelic-service request form card. Form postcard sent by Erwin Glass in Hamburg to the Versandstelle für Sammlermarken in Frankfurt am Main. The front contains the printed request “Ich bitte um kostenlose Übersendung der neuesten Vorratsliste” and the applicant’s details. The address side bears a single 70-pfennig stamp, an environmental-protection machine slogan and a receiving office handstamp. The date and denomination are stated only from elements legible on this specific card. Condition is typical of a genuinely travelled service postcard: ordinary handling traces, paper toning, edges, cancellations and office markings remain visible. No retouching or artificial restoration has been applied. Both sides were directly scanned with every visible edge retained. In the paired scan the form side happened to be in the file labelled as the reverse, but catalogue roles follow the object itself: the form is the front and the address side is the back.
