Cover from Bad Harzburg with 80-pfennig franking

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a mixed-franking postal cover. Domestic cover to Erwin Glass in Hamburg with two Industry and Technology definitives: a 20-pfennig architectural subject and a 60-pfennig technical or transport subject. They are tied together by a Bad Harzburg cancellation; the reverse carries a return address. The catalogue dating is “1983”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “20 Pf + 60 Pf = 80 Pf”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
