Wilschke & Richter printed matter with double 20-pfennig franking

Wilschke & Richter printed matter with double 20-pfennig franking

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a printed-matter postal cover. Commercial printed-matter mailing of Wilschke & Richter, franked with two identical 20-pfennig Frankfurt/Römer architecture definitives. The machine cancellation and postal slogan run across both stamps. The catalogue dating is “c. 1980”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “2 × 20 Pf = 40 Pf”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
