Cover from Heide with 80-pfennig tractor stamp

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a commercial postal cover. Domestic cover to Erwin Glass, franked with the 80-pfennig tractor stamp from the Industry and Technology series. The Heide cancellation is dated 19 December 1982; Michael Harms’s return address appears on the reverse. The catalogue dating is “1982”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “80 Pfennig”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
