Cover with “25 years of the German Mothers’ Convalescence Foundation” stamp

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a commercial postal cover. Cover from Damp to Frau E. Glass with the 1982 80-pfennig commemorative “25 Jahre Deutsches Müttergenesungswerk”. The Damp 1 cancellation carries the Baltic resort slogan “Damp 2000 – Das Ostseeheilbad der 4 Jahreszeiten”. The catalogue dating is “1982”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “80 Pfennig”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
