Registered Hamburg cover with Kant and brown-coal excavator stamps

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a registered postal cover. Registered letter to Erwin Glass with registration label “2000 Hamburg 108”, number 004. The 190-pfennig franking combines the 100-pfennig brown-coal excavator stamp from Industry and Technology with the 90-pfennig Immanuel Kant 1724–1804 commemorative. The catalogue dating is “c. 1970s”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “100 Pf + 90 Pf = 190 Pf”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
