Hamburg cover with 60-pfennig X-ray apparatus stamp

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a commercial postal cover. Domestic cover from Hamburg to E. Glass in Timmendorfer Strand / Gross Waabs, franked with the 60-pfennig X-ray-apparatus stamp from the Industry and Technology series. The machine cancellation carries the slogan “Schreib mal wieder”; the reverse bears E. Glass’s return address. The catalogue dating is “c. 1980s”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “60 Pfennig”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
