Registered Päckchen/COD wrapper with 500-pfennig stamp

An original postal-history paper object from the collection, catalogued as a registered cash-on-delivery parcel wrapper. Large commercial wrapper from ParaHolding Ltd, Malsch near Karlsruhe, to Erwin Glass, marked “PÄCKCHEN” and cash on delivery. It bears registered label R 734 “7502 Malsch 1” and a single 500-pfennig radio-telescope stamp from the Industry and Technology series; folds and wear are typical of genuine parcel use. The catalogue dating is “c. 1980s”, the country or postal area is “Federal Republic of Germany”, and the visible franking or postal charge is recorded as “500 Pfennig”. Condition is typical of genuinely transported and opened correspondence: folds, light soiling, edge wear and small opening tears may be present and have not been concealed. Front and back were scanned directly with all visible edges retained, without retouching or artificial restoration. Details that cannot be read securely from the scan are deliberately identified as approximate rather than asserted as certain.
