Kennedy Half Dollar – ½ Dollar

Obverse with a portrait of John F. Kennedy; a reverse with the US Presidential crest. Drawing: 273 304 004 pcs. for Philadelphia. The macrosize coin is standard circulation strike, not Proof "Accented Hair". This variety is characteristic of early Proof emissions and is recognized by the pronounced hair above the ear and specific defect in the letter I of LIBERTY. Condition approximately AU Details: the relief is well preserved, but has many linear scratches/traces on the fields and portrait that reduce numismatic value.
